Birthday Dinner

(Above: Tuna tartare with macadamia nuts, chorizo, and hearts of palm)
(Above: Fried goat cheese with lavender-infused honey)
(Above: Crispy brussels sprouts with creme fraiche, pistachios, and apples)
(Above: Pulled-pork empanadas with sweet and spicy cilantro sauce)

The ladies and I went to Alta on W. 10th for my Birthday dinner which serves an array of Mediterranean-inspired tapas. For a mere $350, you can get one of everything on the menu!
We didn't go for that option, but all we ordered was delicious!

Not featured above:
- Salmon tataki with mustard green puree, pear mostarda, and preserved lemon "paper"
- Sourdough bruschetta with mission figs, gorgonzola, dates, speck powder, and pine nuts
- Bacon-wrapped dates and olives stuffed with olives
- Smoked eggplant and lebne dip with za'tar, honey, mint, and lemon zest
- Paprika-potato gratin with oloroso carmelized onions, piquillo, and manchego
- Grilled chorizo wrapped gulf shrimp with whipped avocado-lime mousse
- Ricotta parmesan gnocchi with tomato-piquillo pepper sauce, pancetta, and pesto
- Grilled quail in a mustard marinade with spaghetti squash, dried cherries, watercress, and ginger
- Sea scallops with artichoke puree, yuzu mayo, and salmon caviar

Yummy!
