If I told people in Indiana that I didn't have a passport they wouldn't say a thing, but when I said it to people in NY, everyone freaked out. "How could you not have a passport?!" they would say. They were right. I couldn't even flee to Canada had I committed a horrendous crime (haha I wouldn't do that...). Nonetheless, I finally brought myself to the post office, dropped off my application and $100, then received it in the mail a few weeks later. Now I feel free of boundaries and I look forward to using it for the first time. (preferably somewhere out of North America).
