Here is my chance to become a better Catholic...Lent, a time to repent one's sins and to prepare for the Resurrection of Jesus. It's the opportunity to fast, give alms, be sorry for your sins, and be in intense prayer for 40 days. I will try very hard to do what I can to better myself spiritually, and I will not let this time go in vain. I plan to pray more, go to Church, and have given up chips and pizza (which is VERY hard for me to do). It's been a day and so far so good.
