Lost Squirrel

We ran into a squirrel who lost its way from a land full 0' trees, to a tree-barren Bleeker Street. The fatty squirrel ended up taking refuge on a lone baby tree, and I harassed it to snap a photo. How inhumane of me. I'm sorry Squirrel.

One of my oldest and dearest friends, Nicole, has the most precious son. This photo of Skyeler is absolutely hilarious! You can't get much better than a mohawk, a garden hose, and look at that toosh!

No More Handshakes

Because of the H1N1 (Swine Flu) scare, the NBA is discouraging handshakes between players/coaches at the end of games. How then do players show good sportsmanship you ask? Fist pumps and air humps (AKA chest bumps) of course!

Goodbye September!

Fall is definitely here. The air is crisp, the coats are coming out, I'm already getting that holiday feeling. I'm a bit sad that I have missed yet another Johnny Appleseed Festival at home. I remember going there when I was young, eating apple fritters and drinking cider. I even bought a lucky rabbit's foot once (who ever thought a rabbit's foot was good luck??) Oh the memories! Anywho...you know what's sad about living in Manhattan? When you smell some smoke, which remind you of burning leaves, only to realize that it can't be leaves and must be a garbage truck or a street meat vendor. Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to pumpkin-flavored everything, layering my clothes, and snuggling into me blanket at night.

The Charles

The Charles has been disclosed from the public until now, and I'm not sure how hot the scene is. It's supposed to be an inclusive-esque - Waverly Inn - type place, but I'm not noticing any buzz. I read a lot about new restaurants and the new "it" places to dine, but this place hasn't really been listed. Hell, if it wasn't down the block, I would have no idea of its existence. Well, nonetheless, it's a new place to get a chic $15 drink.
