Los Mets

Although I'm not a huge baseball fan, I tend to lean towards the Yankees if I had to choose sides. However, when offered VIP tickets to CitiField for the Mets game, I had to say yes. I was given 4 tickets so I invited so co-workers with me, and what a time we had. We even decided to get some Mets gear for the occasion (only to cut up our shirts to give it some style). The day was gorgeous and my friends and I enjoyed the great seats, access to all the clubs, and tons of great food options. Unfortunately for us, we were having such a good time drinking that by the time we were ready to eat, the game was over! What made things worse is that our section had servers who took your order and we had our minds set on getting some Shake Shack delivered to us. No such luck, but hopefully we can do it again before the regular season is over.

Brown

Went to Brown last Saturday with Courtney, Coxy, and Ben, and as usual, it was awesome. I HAD to have the baked eggs with salmon, herbed ricotta, fresh bread, and side salad. I snapped a photo and posted it on facebook, and to my surprise, many people commented. My friend Atanas thought it looked so good that he convinced a friend to go to Brown the next morning to get the exact meal. Now this is a big deal because Atanas NEVER goes to the L.E.S. He loved the experience so much that he even asked where else he should try in the neighborhood. Now that is pretty rad.

Hoarder

Read this article online about a woman who was found dead in her home. The kicker of this story was that she was a notorious hoarder who had trinkets and "treasures" (and by treasures I mean old food, garbage, and doggy poo) filling a majority of her home. To add to the story, the woman's husband could not find her for 4 days and even set up a reward for any news of her whereabouts (the reward was set up on facebook...ummm). Even the police dogs sniffed the house and couldn't find her. Anyway, this should be a lesson to all you folks out there who have a hard time parting with your stuff. The less stuff you have, the less likely you will be found buried under a pile of garbage in your home.

Which one should I choose?

Ordering cuppycakes from Butter Lane today! Which should I choose? I'm usually a Pistachio cupcake girl when we order from Sugar Sweet Sunshine, but Butter Lane has sooooo many more to choose from!

El Lay

I've been to Orange County in California a bunch of times to visit my family, but never really had the chance to check out the L.A. area. Last week, I was able to hit up many of the areas featured in rap songs - Compton, Crenshaw, Long Beach, as well as Hollywood and Santa Monica.

Rob came out on Thursday and met me in Santa Monica. He was able to come out to the stage and watch me in action. We then drove our rental Ford Mustang Convertible down to Huntington Beach where my family lives. This was Rob's first time in L.A./Orange County and we had an awesome time.

Atticus the Awesome

Isn't he the cutest/best/most wonderful child ever?!! I think so :)

Success!

I flew last Tuesday morning on a 7:40AM flight, got into L.A. at 10AM and went straight to work for the next 3 days. There were definitely times when I thought I had failed. Luckily I was able to coordinate everything needed for the commercial, and come 5PM Friday, I had succeeded at all my responsibilities. It was a great experience and I would do it all over again in a second. Hopefully they will let me join in on the next commercial :)
